John Lewis adds curated services, jeweller Tish Lyon to double concession count

John Lewis is “accelerating its shift toward immersive, experiential retail” by bringing new specialist concessions to stores, including bespoke wellbeing and luxury piercing services with wider partnerships reaching out across travel and fine art advisory.

The expansion is part of the retailer’s £800 million brand transformation, which includes four store refurbishments this year, “turning department stores into vibrant, must-visit destinations… as it redefines physical retail.”

Under the move, piercing and jewellery brand Tish Lyon is to more than double its presence across John Lewis this year to six units, initially opening additional studios in Cambridge, Reading and Glasgow. All stores offer high-end 14k gold jewellery with high-grade, professional high-end piercers.

The expansion follows on from a successful initial introduction at three stores, “with the new studios opening in direct response to significant customer demand,” John Lewis said.

Meanwhile, preventative healthcare specialist Randox Health is more than doubling its existing in-store clinics, allowing customers to track their health with accessible blood testing and wellness assessments.
