Dalfilo, an Italian direct-to-consumer brand specialising in high-quality home textiles, has announced a €2 million capital increase that brings in 10 new investors. The transaction, which includes Bergamo-based holding company 035 Investimenti among its participants, will support a comprehensive growth plan centred on strengthening the retail network, expanding internationally, broadening the product range, and integrating artificial intelligence into business processes.

“In recent years, we have worked to lay solid foundations, not only commercially but also operationally and financially. Today, Dalfilo is a brand with a loyal customer base, a scalable structure, and a clear vision for the future. We strongly believe in integrating digital and physical experiences and want to continue building a brand that can accompany people through different moments of their daily lives, while keeping quality, research, and authenticity at the centre of what we do,” said Davide Trabucchi, Dalfilo’s CEO and co-founder alongside Matteo Bertasa.

Founded in 2020 in the Val Gandino textile district, Dalfilo has sold over 500,000 products and has a customer base of more than 150,000. In 2025, the company achieved positive EBITDA. This year, it has recorded a 20% increase in turnover compared with the same period a year earlier, with a contribution margin of 67%. The goal for the coming years is to sustain annual growth of between 20% and 30%.

The new funds raised through the capital increase will support the brand’s omni-channel strategy. In physical retail, following the Milan stores in Via Marghera (opened in 2024 and reaching break-even within 12 months) and in Corso Garibaldi (opened in 2026), Dalfilo plans a third opening in 2027. Internationally, in addition to consolidating its presence in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria), the plan aims to strengthen its position in Spain, the UK, and France, laying the groundwork for an initial test of the US market in 2027.

At the same time, the product range is expanding: the brand is extending its offering to childrenswear, sportswear, and loungewear, with the first line of pyjamas launched on September 29. On the sustainability front, Dalfilo is continuing its “Circolo Virtuoso” initiative, a circular-economy project dedicated to the recovery and regeneration of used household linen made from natural fibres.

Furthermore, to manage growing operational complexity while maintaining a lean structure, the company will invest part of the new resources in technological infrastructure and AI across the business (from supply chain to customer service). “We believe that in the coming years, what will set brands apart is the ability to move faster than others while remaining efficient. Artificial intelligence is the lever that enables us to do this: we want everyone at Dalfilo to work with AI every day, and for this to lead to better, faster decisions and an organisation capable of scaling while remaining lean. On one condition, which remains our top priority: the quality of the brand and its products must not be compromised; AI is there to protect it, not to dilute it,” conclude Trabucchi and Bertasa.
