British menswear brand Belstaff has opened its latest store at Manchester’s Trafford Centre “further enhancing the shopping destination’s premium fashion mix.”

It also reinforces “continued retailer confidence” in the location, noted operator Pradera.
Featuring the brand’s core signature waxed cotton and leather outerwear, the 900 sq ft store showcases its wider selection of clothing, outerwear and accessories featured within its brand’s ‘Future Garage’ store design. It’s a concept, conceived in collaboration with Scandinavian architecture and interior design studio Specific Generic.
The concept draws on Belstaff’s strong motoring heritage while “reimagining it for a new era”. The “clean, minimalist interior” combines modular fixtures, stainless steel rails and digital displays, “balancing old and new to create a flexible, contemporary retail environment.”
A dedicated evergreen fixture spotlights those key waxed-cotton and leather pieces, using “material details and key dates to reveal the stories behind them.”
Belstaff commercial director Lee Elliott said the store’s opening has historic connections to the North of England (its founders Eli Belovich and Harry Grosberg first conceived the idea for the brand in Manchester), adding: “As Belstaff’s sixth full-price store in England, it’s perfectly placed to better service its loyal customers in the region, while welcoming new ones.”
The opening also builds on Trafford Centre’s leasing momentum, including recently announced lettings and expansions of Suitsupply, Lululemon, Garage and Uniqlo.
