Four bags, four universes, four collaborations

This autumn, the bag never travels alone. By turns a travel companion, a collector’s item or a creative statement, it embraces collaboration this season and reinvents itself through encounters that blend heritage craftsmanship, artistic signatures, and playful twists on iconic designs.
Kujten x Globe-Trotter

Travel takes on new textures. Kujten and Globe-Trotter combine their expertise in a capsule collection that brings British trunk-making and Parisian cashmere into dialogue, united by a shared inspiration: Mongolia.
Founded in 1897, Globe-Trotter has upheld a tradition of handcraftsmanship in its Hertfordshire workshops for over a century. Kujten, whose name refers to Mongolia’s highest peak, has built its identity around cashmere and its signature Bandana motif. For this collaboration, the two houses bring these hallmarks together across four pieces designed to accompany the journey.
Globe-Trotter’s two iconic models — the Cabin Case, priced at €2,795, and the Vanity (London Square) at €1,895 — are adorned with an exclusive print fusing Kujten’s Bandana motif with a map of the former Mongol Empire. The luggage comes in ivory and taupe, or in a khaki-and-ivory palette, with the same pattern on the linings.
Kujten has also applied the design to two of its cashmere scarves, the Hachi (€100) and the Hachiko (€265), in an oatmeal hue. A Lery silk scarf (€100), designed to be tied to the handles of a bag or suitcase, completes the collection — a way for the motif to travel from one house to the other, from luggage to accessory.
The Kujten x Globe-Trotter collection will be available online and in selected boutiques of both houses, including in Paris, from October 8.
Eastpak x Walter Van Beirendonck

The Monster isn’t done yet. More than 20 years after its first appearance, the creature conceived by Walter Van Beirendonck returns to Eastpak in an autumn 2026 collection expanded into new formats.
The story between the Belgian designer — a founding member of the Antwerp Six — and the luggage specialist dates back to 2004, with the launch of the first Monster rucksack. Since then, the creature’s instantly recognisable features have become a hallmark of their collaboration. Following a new collection unveiled at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, the two partners extend the conversation with a series of accessories.
Notably, the Walter Faux Leather returns in a faux-leather iteration, while the Walter Pak’r appears in red and black and gains new appendages. Arms, legs and hands attach to the bag and are more than decorative: some hands can hold a wallet or a mobile phone, while a compartment serves as a cool bag.
The Monster also shifts scale with the Carry Bag, designed for short getaways. An inner pocket can hold a laptop, while a sculpted head and hands bring the character to life. Finally, the Mini Bag distils the creature’s codes into a compact format, available in blue and black.
The Walter Van Beirendonck x Eastpak collection has been available worldwide since September 8 from select retailers, at Eastpak’s London flagship and online, priced around €189.
Cabaia x Constance Gennari

Constance Gennari didn’t carry a rucksack. That’s precisely what caught Cabaia’s attention. To inaugurate its new Cabaia Studio, the brand gave the founder of The Socialite Family free rein to reinterpret its iconic model.
The starting point is the Adventurer, Cabaia’s flagship rucksack. Rather than reinventing its use, Constance Gennari preserves what makes it so practical and brings a more personal perspective, closer to her world of objects, materials, and interiors.
From this encounter comes Le Léonard, conceived as an everyday companion. The wide-opening design remains, while the signature pouch becomes detachable and can be used on its own or slipped into a bag. Cabaia’s hallmark modularity is thus expressed in a piece designed to keep pace with different moments of the day.
The collection comprises three styles: the rucksack with its matching pouch, priced at €129; the handbag at €99; and the pouch on its own at €39. Materials and colours favour a timeless approach, spanning black, cream white, burgundy, vibrant khaki, and camel. Suede lends warmth, while coloured vinyl adds a bolder note.
Marking Cabaia Studio’s first collaboration, Le Léonard will be available from October 20, 2026 on the Cabaia website, in select boutiques of the brand and at The Socialite Family.
Michael Kors x Christina Zimpel

For its latest Watch Hunger Stop edition, Michael Kors has teamed up with artist Christina Zimpel. She has created the illustration for a limited-edition tote bag, with all proceeds going to the World Food Programme.
The 2026 model is crafted from 100% recycled cotton and features a colourful, optimistic graphic language inspired by hope and positivity. This creation supports Michael Kors’ annual campaign against world hunger.
The funds raised will, in particular, contribute to the World Food Programme’s school feeding programme in Sri Lanka. This initiative combines school meals with support for local farmers — particularly women — and efforts to strengthen community resilience.
Priced at $99.50 (approximately €88), the tote bag is available online and in select boutiques from October 1, 2026.
