France's social crisis: ‘very limited damage’ to shops amid sustained mass demonstrations

Some 800,000 demonstrators took to the streets on Saturday, according to the CGT, and 410,000 according to France’s Interior Ministry, which reported “very limited damage” to businesses, despite fears of further looting.
