Casualwear specialist Crew Clothing has filed its accounts for 2025 with both turnover and adjusted EBITDA rising. The former jumped to almost £151 million from just over £123 million a year earlier and the latter rose to £28.2 million from just under £24 million.

That 22% turnover increase came as it saw “significant growth across core channels”. E-commerce (that is, its own website) was up 30% and stores were up 21%. Admittedly, a big chunk of that was down to new locations, but underlying like-for-like turnover was also up a healthy 12%. Meanwhile, sales through third parties & wholesale in turn made up a smaller portion of the business, but still increased 9% vs the prior year
The adjusted EBITDA rise of 20% came with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 19.1% and was driven driven both by the strong sales performance and that stronger margin.
Yet with a number of costs during the year (including an e-commerce project) profit after interest and tax was £19.01 million, vs 2024’s slightly higher £19.4 million.
The company said it “remains committed to seeing continued sustainable growth across the business”. It has invested in key areas of expansion including developing its online presence and growing the physical estate. Some 17 new stores opened in 2025 and it relocated two sites. “The appetite for acquiring new store locations continues into the year ahead,” it added.
After the strong trading in 2025, it also said it “plans to continue a strong growth trajectory, with a focus across all channels. Key strategies in place to deliver these results include a continued expansion of product ranges; widening the breadth of products available across menswear, womenswear, childrenswear and accessories. Plans are to offer existing customers new options as well as expanding reach across the market. This ties to the continued strategy of investing in customer acquisition, and market penetration”.
The stores expansion will continue “into a number of key target markets within the UK. Further opportunities are being actively sought out to identify locations which fit into one of the specific customer demographics of the Crew Clothing customer”.
