Luxury footwear and accessories brand Manolo Blahnik on 1 October opened a new boutique within Harrods in London’s Knightsbridge.

It’s in the Shoe Heaven space on the fifth floor and “celebrates Manolo Blahnik’s bold use of colour” with an immersive gallery of the designer’s sketches. This includes 300 unique ink drawings of his footwear creations, which is an exclusive design for the Harrods boutique.
The gallery is also a nod to the ‘Palette Room’ within the brand’s own archives, its virtual space of archival sketches.
That all underscores just how important a destination Harrods is for luxury shoes and bag retail in London.
Other boutique features include a craft table displaying elements of traditional shoemaking (and paying homage to the Italian craftspeople who make the pieces) and a display of Mr Blahnik’s desk, “adorned with his personal artefacts, offering visitors a glimpse into Blahnik’s creative world”.
The products currently available there are from the AW26 collection, with diverse inspirations from London’s swinging ‘60s, to the Scottish Lowlands and the rich hues of ornate Italian castles.
But there are also classic pieces such as the Maysale, originally created for designer Isaac Mizrahi in 1991, as well as the satin and crystal-embellished Nadira and Hangisi styles.
CEO Kristina Blahnik called Harrods “an exceptional destination for luxury and a true British institution. It perfectly complements our two existing stores in London, demonstrating the enduring importance of this market to our brand”.
