Jewellery brand Tribe Amrapali has brought its Chennai store total to four with its new location at Terminal 2 of Chennai International Airport, following its recent launch at Terminal 4, and joining its network of airport stores across India.

“Opening our fourth store in Chennai within such a short span is a strong reflection of the city’s importance to Tribe Amrapali and the momentum we are seeing across our retail network,” said Tribe Amrapali’s CEO Akanksha Arora in a press release on Monday. “With two airport stores opening within 10 days, we are not only strengthening our footprint in Chennai but also creating more opportunities for consumers to experience our interpretation of Indian craftsmanship.”
Tribe Amrapali’s new stores at Chennai International Airport’s Terminal 4 and Terminal 2 both retail a curated selection of silver jewellery, layered necklaces, stackable rings, “everyday statement” pieces, and gifting options. “As we move towards our 44th store nationally, our expansion continues to be guided by a simple ambition to take jewellery rooted in Indian stories, symbolism, and craftsmanship to more consumers while making it relevant to how they live and express themselves today,” said Arora.
Launched with an e-commerce store in 2013, Tribe Amrapali sits under the umbrella of its mother brand ‘Amrapali’. The label has a fusion aesthetic and takes its inspiration from the vibrant and diverse indigenous cultures and folklore of India.
