The AWWG-owned denim brand is rolling out a new expansion strategy in the Indian market. Pepe Jeans London has opened three experiential stores on the same day across different parts of Bengaluru as part of its growth programme in the country.

The new stores are located in the Phoenix Marketcity complex in Whitefield, on 100 Feet Road in Indira Nagar, and in the HSR Layout neighbourhood — three strategic areas of Karnataka’s state capital. The spaces showcase the brand’s new look and bring together its menswear, womenswear, and childrenswear collections, pairing its classic denim pieces with casual, everyday fashion.
“Bangalore has always been an important market for us, and opening three stores in the city on the same day has allowed us to create something much bigger than three standalone openings. We wanted consumers to be able to experience the spirit of Pepe Jeans across the city, and the new store design marks an important step in enhancing the shopping experience,” said Rakesh Jallipally, CEO of Pepe Jeans London in India. “These stores strengthen our retail presence and give our customers greater access to our denim, casualwear and everyday styles. As we continue to expand our retail network in India, Bangalore is an important part of that journey,” he concluded.
With these three openings, Pepe Jeans London now has more than 200 stores in India and plans to add a further 100 outlets in this market over the next 18 months, expanding its presence in both established locations and new areas of the country. Internationally, the brand—founded in 1973 on London’s Portobello Road—operates in more than 60 countries.
The brand is currently part of the All We Wear Group (AWWG), a Madrid-based Spanish conglomerate that operates in over 60 markets through a network of around 400 directly operated stores and 4,500 points of sale. The group’s portfolio also includes Hackett London and Façonnable. In recent developments, AWWG has recently announced the end of its partnership with the US company G-III Apparel Group for the management of certain businesses in Europe. Accordingly, from December 31, 2026, G-III will assume direct responsibility for managing Karl Lagerfeld, Donna Karan, and DKNY in Spain and Portugal, as well as the Converse business in Western Europe.
