Roots and Toronto-founded jewellery brand Lisa Gozlan launched on Friday a limited-edition collection spanning apparel, jewellery and accessories.

Designed in Canada, the collection reimagines familiar brand icons. It includes adult crewnecks, a kids hoodie, toddler crew, cap, bracelet, keychain and pin. The collection is available online and at select Roots and Lisa Gozlan stores across Canada.
“Roots has always been part of my story. Getting to come full circle and create something together feels really special,” said Lisa Gozlan, founder of Lisa Gozlan Jewelry.
“I wanted to take some of the most recognizable Roots symbols and give them a more playful, jewelry-inspired treatment while still keeping that unmistakable Roots feeling.”
The collaboration is part of Roots’ ongoing efforts to reinterpret its heritage through new creative partnerships and product expressions. Earlier this month, Roots also announced a new collaboration with OCAD University to support emerging design talent.
“Roots has always had such a strong sense of identity, and we’re constantly looking for new ways to bring that heritage forward,” added Micah Cameron, image director, Roots.
“This collaboration gave us the opportunity to work with another Toronto-founded brand and reimagine our classic icons in a way that feels elevated and true to both brands.”
For the second-quarter ended August 1, Roots said sales dropped 2.4% to $49.5 million, with declines reported across both its direct-to-consumer and wholesale businesses. For the quarter ended August 1, direct-to-consumer sales decreased 1.3% to $40.5 million, while comparable DTC sales declined 1%.
Roots announced in August that Marquee Brands, through operating partner JM&A Design and Development Inc., will acquire all of the company’s outstanding common shares. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.
