French luxury giant LVMH has promoted Clara Boissonnas, currently an executive at Louis Vuitton, to CEO of Pucci. She will take up the role on January 1, 2027, succeeding Saar Debrouwere, who is stepping down as head of the Italian brand after four years at the helm.

In her new role at Pucci, Boissonnas will report directly to Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, who is also chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton. Boissonnas will lead the brand’s next phase of development, with the aim of “further strengthening the maison’s distinctive creative identity, appeal, and international reach,” the LVMH statement said.
“Clara has made a significant contribution to Louis Vuitton thanks to her in-depth product expertise, keen creative sensibility, and unwavering commitment to excellence,” commented Beccari. “Her ability to combine creative ambition with a clear understanding of the business makes her the ideal person to lead Pucci into its next chapter.”
A graduate of the HEC Paris business school, Boissonnas began her career at Louis Vuitton in 2002 in leather goods product management. In 2006, she became accessories director at Lanvin. In 2016, she joined Kering as director of strategy and business development, before returning to Louis Vuitton a year later as product director for women’s leather goods.
In an internal memo, LVMH states that Debrouwere’s next role within the group will be announced in due course. The Belgian executive joined Pucci from Icicle in 2022. Prior to that, she spent eight years working at Acne Studios in Stockholm.
Beccari thanked Debrouwere for her “extraordinary leadership, vision and dedication as CEO of Pucci. Together with Camille Miceli, with whom she formed a unique and complementary partnership, Saar has steered the fashion house towards a splendid revival, successfully blending its rich historical heritage with a fresh, contemporary energy.”
